Kirk Purdy
Vice President, Business Development
Mr. Purdy’s primary responsibilities include working with banks and private lenders to obtain capital to fund and expand BDC Funding’s portfolio of loans. His day-to-day responsibilities include preparing loan presentations, negotiating financing terms and conditions, and assisting the president with loan documentation and review.
With approximately 25 years of banking experience, Mr. Purdy has provided numerous clients throughout the Washington region with excellent customer service and unique lending solutions. He is well-connected within the banking industry and is intimately familiar with banking credit policies and procedures. Mr. Purdy’s experience includes working with local businesses in underwriting, approving, and funding loans for working capital, equipment financing, and real estate related activities. He has worked with several financial institutions including SunTrust, BB&T, and Cardinal Bank.
Mr. Purdy obtained a Bachelor of Arts in U.S. History from the University of Michigan. He is active in youth hockey including coaching the TC Williams High School Hockey team. Mr. Purdy has two sons, ages 18 and 19. |
